“On Christmas Day 1943, an hour-long radio show produced by the Sunpapers World War II correspondents in England featured holiday greetings and songs from soldiers, airmen and Red Cross workers to their families back home in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.”
This project was the brainchild and baby of my esteemed colleagues Steve Sullivan and Paul McCardell. They asked me to assist with the online visuals and I designed this mini-site to house the videos and collateral content. The design challenge for this project was to create something that speaks to both the retro and the modern. I accomplished this through color, type and the use of flat design UI elements.
